Who We Are
The Continuous You Foundation ("the Foundation," "we," "us") is a Washington State nonprofit corporation based in Point Roberts, WA. This policy covers continuousyou.foundation and the One Table Grant application process. For questions about this policy or your data, contact craig@haawke.com.
What We Collect
When you apply for the One Table Grant, we collect what you provide directly through our application form: your name, email address, country, discipline or medium, portfolio URL, your written application response, and (optionally) how you heard about us. This is submitted through a third-party form processor (Formspree) and delivered to us by email.
If you engage with the Foundation's AI-assisted interview experience as part of your application, you may share reflections, biographical details, or creative work in that conversation.
Training Data and Cloud Storage
We do not currently archive, retain, or store in the cloud any data submitted through the AI interview experience for the purpose of training a model. If this changes in the future, participation will be opt-in, and we will notify applicants in advance of any such change taking effect.
This is a deliberate, current-state commitment, not a permanent technical limitation — we're telling you plainly what happens today so you can decide whether to apply and what to share, and we will not silently change that arrangement on data you've already given us.
How We Use What We Collect
- To evaluate and respond to your grant application
- To contact you about the status of your application or the program
- To maintain records of who has applied, for the Foundation's own administration
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Analytics and Cookies
Some pages on this site use Google Analytics and Cloudflare's web analytics to understand aggregate visitor traffic (e.g., which pages are viewed, general geographic region). These tools use cookies or similar technology. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors, and it is separate from any application data you submit to us directly.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or UK, our legal basis for processing your application data is your consent, given by submitting the application, and our legitimate interest in administering the grant program. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this will not affect processing already carried out.
International Data Transfers
Our form processor (Formspree) and hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) are US-based services. If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on these providers' own compliance mechanisms for cross-border transfer.
Data Retention
We retain application data for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate applications and administer the grant program, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. AI interview content, per the commitment above, is not retained in cloud storage at this time.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to our processing of your data
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email craig@haawke.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and, in any case, within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children's Privacy
This site and the One Table Grant are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to This Policy
If we materially change how we handle your data — including any change to the training-data commitment above — we will update this page and, where practical, notify applicants directly before the change takes effect.
